Job Description

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year Requirements: • Completion of A level studies is essential. • Degree-level education is desirable. • At least two years experience in a professional services environment, ideally within the accountancy or legal sectors. • Experience working on large-scale projects and in project management. • Experience in Data Quality, Remediation, and Data Management programmes. • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform suite, with the ability to build applications for internal use. • Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions. • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, pipelines, dataflows, and pySpark. • Strong SQL skills, including advanced T-SQL, functions, stored procedures, and SQL Agent jobs. • Ability to develop Power BI reports. • Competent in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams. • Experience with Elite3E, MS Teams, SmartSheets, and data management tools. • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview is an advantage. • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to challenge assumptions where necessary. • Strong communication, relationship-building, organisational, and prioritisation skills. • Ability to cope with conflicting demands, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure. • A proactive, self-starting, and problem-solving approach. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and uphold our values with integrity and tact. Responsibilities: • Analyse and interpret requests for improvements in data-related processes and data change requests. • Discuss requests with senior colleagues where necessary and identify business impacts. • Advise on change management and identify when larger-scale project management is required. • Provide high-level advisory support on business processes and data management. • Define the mapping and synchronisation of shared reference data across systems. • Provide solutions and proposals to support data integrations. • Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and data dictionaries for Critical Data Elements. • Work with stakeholders to analyse data, provide reporting solutions, identify root causes of process dysfunction, and advise on remediation. • Contribute to the design of data models for BI, reporting tools, and enterprise reuse. • Promote our Data Standards and Data Governance Policy. • Contribute to process design and participate in cross-functional programme workstreams. • Design and develop data transformation and loading processes for data models and architecture. • Identify opportunities to improve data capture processes and system integration. • Monitor data quality reports and work with data owners to agree remedial actions. • Document data lifecycles and their relationship to business processes. • Identify new data sources and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting. • Create and develop wireframe solutions. • Create and maintain database solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools and SQL databases. • Introduce and maintain data quality tools.
