Responsibilities: • Provides holistic leadership across business analysis, project outcomes, and team of business analysts aligning their expertise with agile methodologies and ensuring effective collaboration. • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements. • Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice. • Fosters effective communication between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of goals and requirements. • Manage / groom product backlog based on user needs / prioritization input • Single point of contact for business analysis, agile leadership, and team coordination minimizing communication gaps, reducing the risk of misinterpretation, and promote more effective project outcomes. • Prepares training materials, training sessions on project delivery methodology in accordance with guidelines. • Lead presentations / demonstrations of solution design and build for consultation group and stakeholders • Create & review the user flows and user stories, and ensure they meet the overall product vision and consistency across features • Support QA, UAT , Architecture, and Technical activities to facilitate quality and enterprise standards are met • Support agile practices and encourage the improvement of service. • Identify gaps and improvements for enhance process flows/customer experience journeys. • Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle working closely with product owner, including: • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements • Defining the product vision • Ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements. • Monitors progress, resolves problems and reports regularly to management and stakeholders. • Conduct discovery, cost benefit analysis and prototyping • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact. • Work closely with business and IT teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources. • Identifies dependencies with other teams and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the team. General Skills: • Knowledge and experience with Agile Information and Information Technology (I&IT) methods and techniques associated with the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks. • Communication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus building, and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated commitment and proven ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and navigate through organizational approvals. • Knowledgeable and experience in Agile methodology and ability to educate others. • Experience facilitating the relationships between the Agile team and product owner and maintaining a safe working environment for the team by helping with conflict resolution • Experience leading the Agile methodology and development teams in self-organization and identifying and filling in blanks in the framework. • Experience mentoring and coaching the teams on removing impediments. • Experience capturing feedback and documenting sprint reviews to administer project goals and improve team performance. • Leads and conducts business analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined. • Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives. • Experience leading requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations, and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement. • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience. Required Skills: • Project Methodology certifications such as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Black/Green/Yellow Belt, etc. • Knowledge of Ontario Public Service decision-making and project implementation processes is considered an asset. Requirements Experience and Skill Set Requirements: Must Haves: • Knowledge and experience with Agile Information and Information Technology (I&IT) methods and techniques associated with the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks. • 10 years of experience working as a BA • Strong Agile and Waterfall experience • Experience developing functional and non functional requirements, leading and facilitates in-depth workshops to elicit, review, document and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, business models, business rules and user interface design, in order to create the technical framework/specifications for development of the business solution and/or infrastructure services or platforms. • Leads and facilitates indepth workshops to elicit, review, document and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, business models, business rules and user interface design, in order to create the technical framework/specifications for development of the business solution and/or infrastructure services or platforms. • Experience with MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Azure DevOps / Jira. • Experience with Enterprise Transformation / Modernization / service delivery related projects. Skill Set Requirements: Business Analysis and Technical Skills: • Experience leading and conducting business analysis for business projects to assess clients' business problems or opportunities, document the technical business requirements to meet the functional requirements. • Experience developing context diagrams, use cases and use case models. • Experience developing business service blueprints, user stories, technical & business process flows, process maps, data flow diagrams and customer journey maps • Experience creating systems diagrams • Experience writing business cases and conducting options analysis • Experience developing cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives. • Experience developing functional and non functional requirements, leading and facilitates in-depth workshops to elicit, review, document and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, business models, business rules and user interface design, in order to create the technical framework/specifications for development of the business solution and/or infrastructure services or platforms. • Experience developing performance measures for a projects and lines of business • Hands-on experience developing effective use cases and user stories Business Analysis: • Leads and conducts business analysis both on an ongoing basis and for business projects to assess clients' business problems or opportunities, document the technical business requirements to meet the functional requirements, ensuring alignment with the OPS project management and related methodologies. • Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative, cost effective service delivery approaches. Conducts ongoing business analysis activities and analysis within all phases of the project life cycle, including initial technical requirements, detailed plan of business analysis activity, business modeling, analysis of business transformation, new business development and acquired solutions, continual refinement of business requirements and identification of significant change
