About the Role Work with a leading organisation as an experienced Senior or Lead Quality Engineer to join a large-scale data migration and transformation program. This is an opportunity for you to play a key role on a large complex transformation as a strong data migration tester. What will you be doing? • Contribute to a data migration transformation program • Lead data migration testing • Apply AI-assisted testing techniques to improve test design, defect analysis, and risk identification • Take an automation-first and shift-left approach by building and maintaining automated test suites • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality customer outcomes • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall quality practices What are we looking for? • 10+ years of quality engineering experience • Over 5 years of experience in data migration testing on large transformation programs • Very strong SQL and data validation skills • Strong experience developing automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright • Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions • AI-assisted testing experience • Strong API testing experience (Postman, REST clients, or automated frameworks) • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience in Finance, Banking or Insurance Benefits • 14 month contract opportunity • ASAP start required (2 week notice max) • Hybrid working environment -3 days in office in Sydney - no other locations considered. • Highly collaborative team How to Apply You must have full working rights in Australia and reside in Sydney.
