Financial Accountant

Introduction Are you an experienced Financial Accountant looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to join our finance team and play a key role in financial management, reporting, and compliance. Duties & Responsibilities • Financial planning and management accounting • General accounting and financial reporting • Fixed asset project accounting • Development and management of financial operating procedures • Staff supervision and development • Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and audit requirements Desired Experience & Qualification • BCom Accounting / Financial Accounting or equivalent qualification • Minimum 8 years' experience as an Accountant • Construction industry experience advantageous • Registration with CIMA, SAICA, or SAIPA advantageous • Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Income Tax legislation, audit requirements, and SARS depreciation regulations • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel • Excellent communication and financial planning skills • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity • Own reliable transport What You'll Bring • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent organisational and time-management skills • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy • A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement Interested?
