Adecco is partnering with a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Penrose to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, safety-focused team where accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are highly valued.

About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient movement of stock and maintaining accurate warehouse records. Working closely with Production teams, you’ll support both inbound and outbound activities while contributing to overall warehouse performance and safety, reporting directly to an operations Supervisor.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating stock movement and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Supporting receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations
• Maintaining clear, accurate documentation and records
• Inspecting inbound stock and reporting discrepancies or damage
• Supporting equipment awareness, preventative maintenance, and repairs
• Preparing stock and shipping reports
• Sending daily/weekly/monthly inventory updates to customers
• Forwarding delivery dockets for invoicing
• Completing daily safety checks and documentation
• Participating in 6-monthly stocktakes
• Ensuring receiving dock coverage during operating hours
• Reporting any H&S incidents or near misses immediately
• Submitting accurate timesheets
• Attending weekly toolbox talks
• Following all Environmental and Health & Safety policies
• Occasionally leading small projects or tasks What You’ll Bring
• A valid forklift licence
• 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory controls
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to plan and manage workload under pressure
• Confident computer skills
• Sound understanding of workplace H&S
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting when required What You’ll Get in Return
