Senior Operations Manager Location: Kolkata Experience: 3+ Years Industry: Technology & Luxury Goods Logistics Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Open to discussion for the right candidate Job Overview We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to manage end-to-end import, logistics, supply chain, and domestic delivery operations. The role will involve close coordination with Accounts, Sales, freight partners, and customs agents. Key Responsibilities: • Manage imports, freight coordination, shipping lines, customs clearance, and duty payments . • Handle Bill of Entry (BOE), knock-offs, and import documentation . • Coordinate with Accounts for LCs, bank documentation, and duty payments . • Manage domestic freight partners, negotiate rates, and verify logistics charges. • Coordinate with Sales on stock availability, lead times, and delivery updates . • Monitor inventory movement and ensure timely deliveries. • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement . • Supervise and mentor the Junior Operations Associate. Requirements 3+ years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Import/Export. Strong knowledge of customs clearance, BOE, import documentation, and duty structures . Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners. Good understanding of LCs, bank documentation, and operational costs . Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills. Experience in technology, electronics, or luxury goods logistics is preferred. Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata .
