Senior Accountant - Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and manage team ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of all accounting activities. • Oversee day-to-day financial accounting, including validation of accounting entries, ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. · Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including salary computation, payslip generation, and payroll compliance. • Manage the complete Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, customer invoicing, collections, outstanding follow-ups, and vendor/customer reconciliations. • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, ESIC, MLWF, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements, including preparation and filing of applicable returns. • Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, auditors, banks, NBFCs, and regulatory authorities for statutory audits, GST audits, Income Tax audits, assessments, loan reconciliations, and compliance matters. • Manage banking and treasury operations, including salary payments, vendor payments, EMI and credit card payments, cash flow and fund management, inward/outward remittances, Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, EDPMS, IDPMS, BIRC, and other banking compliances. • Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, budgets, cash flow reports, and other management reports for business decision-making. • Handle statutory notices, disputed cases, and correspondence with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other regulatory authorities. • Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting SOPs, process improvements, and ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial records. Requirements Candidate Profile · CA / Inter CA preferred. · Male candidates preferred. · M.Com / MBA (Finance) / B.Com with relevant experience may also apply. · 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts. · Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliances. · Experience in finalization of accounts, MIS reporting, banking operations, audit coordination, and team handling. · Proficient in Tally/ERP and Advanced MS Excel. · Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
