Senior SAP Functional Consultant - WM/EWM Modules

Position : Senior SAP Functional Consultant / SAP Functional Lead Experience : 12+ Years Location : Pune (Preferred) / Remote Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Functional Consultant / Functional Lead with 12+ years of SAP consulting experience and strong expertise across SAP WM/EWM, LE, MM, and PP. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering complex SAP solutions, including S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support engagements. The role requires strong functional expertise, client-facing consulting capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and experience leading end-to-end SAP delivery. Key Responsibilities : - Lead functional solution delivery across SAP WM/EWM, LE, MM, and PP. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. - Conduct business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and SAP configuration. - Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business stakeholders. - Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments. - Design and manage integration across MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, and EWM/WM. - Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects. - Conduct solution demonstrations and support business decision-making. - Lead UAT, cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live support activities. - Manage client stakeholders and act as a trusted functional advisor. - Lead functional teams, mentor consultants, and ensure quality delivery. - Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams on custom developments, interfaces, APIs, and integrations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex business and system issues. - Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and SAP best practices. - Work effectively across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments. Mandatory Skills & Experience : - 12+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong functional solution delivery expertise. - Strong hands-on experience in : 1. SAP WM / EWM 2. SAP LE 3. SAP MM 4. SAP PP - Minimum 45 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and rollouts. - Strong experience in business process mapping and fit-gap analysis. - Expertise in SAP solution design and configuration. - Experience leading requirement-gathering workshops. - Strong Functional Specification preparation and technical-team coordination experience. - Strong cross-module integration knowledge across MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, and EWM/WM. - Proven experience in client-facing consulting and stakeholder management. - Experience with UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support. - Experience leading functional teams and mentoring consultants. Preferred Skills : - Working knowledge of ABAP and SAP technical concepts. - Understanding of SAP Fiori, APIs, and interfaces. - Ability to effectively collaborate with technical/development teams. - Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ideal Candidate : The ideal candidate will be a senior SAP professional who can independently drive functional solution design and delivery, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, lead consulting teams, and manage complex SAP implementation programs from requirements through go-live.
