Job Description
Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:
• Strong commercial Java development experience
• Good experience designing and building solutions in AWS
• Full-stack development experience using JavaScript, React and TypeScript
• Previous experience leading engineers or providing technical direction
• An understanding of software architecture and technical design
• Experience working throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
• The ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Ability to obtain high-level UK security clearance
• Must be a British citizen
• Must have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a team of software engineers
• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions
• Provide technical direction and communicate clearly with clients
• Produce solution architectures and technical designs
• Build full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript
• Design and deploy cloud-based solutions, primarily using AWS
• Create continuous integration pipelines using tools such as GitLab
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through to delivery, support and maintenance
• Deploy software into public and private cloud environments
• Promote high standards of software quality, security and engineering practice Technologies:
