Accountant (9 months)

What you'll do: As an Accountant (Contract), you will be entrusted with responsibilities that are central to maintaining the organisation’s financial integrity.

Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both the group and the funds managed by the company, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely. Conduct detailed account reconciliations and analyse discrepancies to maintain precision in financial statements.

Ensure all financial reporting meets regulatory requirements and adheres strictly to statutory laws and financial regulations. Manage the general ledger and oversee end-to-end accounting operations including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other transactional activities.

Maintain meticulous records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures to support accurate accounting and financial management. Facilitate coordination with external and internal auditors during audits to ensure compliance and integrity of financial data.

Uphold internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and prevent discrepancies throughout all accounting processes. Assist in tax preparation and filings with tax agents to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing reliable data analysis and insights.

Act as a dependable team player by working collaboratively within the finance department and across the organisation to ensure cohesive financial management.
