Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Treasury, this is a 12-month contract role . The role will oversee liquidity management, cash forecasting, managing banking relationships, as well as ensuring smooth daily treasury operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage daily cash positions, short-term and long-term liquidity and board-level cash forecasting
• Improve, Develop and Automate existing cash flow model
• Ensuring cash flows from merchant providers is reconciled and received in a timely manner in accordance with settlement timelines and address delays when necessary
• Working closely with FP&A to ensure cash forecasts are aligned with the long-term model
• Oversee the management of bank accounts (opening, closing, compliance etc.) and administer various electronic platforms
• Trade foreign exchange and support confirmation process
• Liaise with business teams around forecasted cash inflows and outflows
• Recommend improvements and implement corrective actions to optimize controls and reduce risks
• Support new station treasury setups and cross-functional treasury initiatives
• Supervise and support team members when necessary
• Work on special projects as required
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
• Active participation in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operation; understand comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CTP, or CFA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive corporate treasury or finance experience, prior experience in aviation is advantageous
• Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience with treasury systems, banking portals and cash forecasting
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
