Network Security Administrator - Palo Alto Environment

: Role : Network Security Administrator - Palo Alto Experience : 6-8 Years Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Network Security Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and network security administration. The candidate should have practical experience managing Palo Alto environments, configuring VPNs, troubleshooting network connectivity, and supporting firewall migrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure, analyzing security and traffic logs, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting firewall deployments across enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities : - Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls running PAN-OS. - Manage and configure Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall administration. - Configure and troubleshoot IPSec and SSL VPN solutions. - Manage firewall policies, NAT, security rules, and network segmentation. - Troubleshoot network connectivity and security-related issues using traffic and system logs. - Work with TCP/IP networking, routing, and network security concepts. - Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing. - Implement and maintain security controls such as IDS/IPS, NAT, and network segmentation. - Support firewall migration and transformation activities using appropriate migration tools; Palo Alto Expedition experience is preferred. - Analyze firewall and network logs to identify security events, connectivity problems, and performance issues. - Participate in firewall upgrades, configuration changes, and production troubleshooting. - Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues. - Support Palo Alto firewall deployments in AWS and Azure environments where applicable. - Follow security standards, operational procedures, and change-management processes.
