Talent Acquisition Specialist – Semiconductor

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring for highly specialized semiconductor engineering roles. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sourcing passive candidates across ASIC, SoC, Analog, Digital, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, Embedded Software, and related semiconductor domains. This role requires excellent market mapping, networking, and candidate engagement skills. What You’ll Do Source and identify high-quality candidates for semiconductor engineering positions through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, GitHub, X-ray search, and other sourcing channels. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Conduct market research and talent mapping for niche semiconductor skill sets. Engage passive candidates and assess their interest, availability, and suitability. Perform initial candidate screening to evaluate technical background, experience, and cultural fit. Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and sourcing strategies. Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing metrics in the ATS. Track and report sourcing KPIs, including pipeline health, response rates, and conversion metrics. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top semiconductor talent. Stay updated on semiconductor industry trends, competitor hiring, and emerging technologies. What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of sourcing experience with focus on semiconductor hiring. Strong experience sourcing for technical roles such as: ASIC/SoC RTL Design Design Verification Physical Design DFT Analog/Mixed-Signal Design PD, STA, PV, EMIR Firmware/Embedded Software High-Speed Interfaces (PCIe, UCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, SerDes) Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, AI Recruiting, job boards, Boolean search, X-ray search, and ATS platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Good to Have Experience working with semiconductor product companies or semiconductor-focused staffing firms. Familiarity with the global semiconductor talent market. Experience hiring for startups or high-growth technology companies. Knowledge of AI-powered sourcing tools is an added advantage.
