Head / Lead - Structural Engineering (Residential Projects)
Role Overview
This role will lead structural engineering for large-scale residential developments, including high-rise towers and integrated townships. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-optimized structural design and execution across projects.
The role requires strong alignment with construction teams to ensure design intent translates seamlessly into site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design strategy for residential projects (high-rise / township developments)
- Review and validate designs from external consultants for safety, efficiency, and cost optimization
- Ensure alignment between design, execution, and project timelines
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize material usage and structural costs
- Work closely with project and site teams to resolve structural challenges during execution
- Oversee structural audits, peer reviews, and quality checks
- Ensure compliance with Indian codes (IS codes) and safety standards
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors for integrated project delivery
- Manage external structural consultants and internal engineering teams
Candidate Profile (18-28 Years)
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (MTech preferred)
- 15-25 years of experience in residential real estate or large-scale construction projects
- Strong experience in high-rise structural systems (RCC, shear walls, etc.)
- Proven track record of working with leading developers or EPC firms
- Hands-on exposure to site execution challenges, not just design
- Strong understanding of cost optimization and constructability

- Ability to bridge design intent and on-ground execution realities
- Strong stakeholder management across consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Commercial awareness in driving cost-efficient structural solutions
