Role Overview: As the Head of Applications for our NBFC operations in Mumbai, you will serve as the strategic architect of our digital ecosystem, overseeing the entire lifecycle of our enterprise application suite. You will lead high-performing engineering teams to drive digital transformation, ensuring our lending platforms, ERP systems, and customer-facing interfaces are robust, scalable, and secure. By bridging the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technology, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering a seamless digital experience to our diverse customer base. You will collaborate closely with the C-suite, business unit heads, and external technology partners to align our application roadmap with the companys long-term growth objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Spearhead the end-to-end digital transformation strategy to modernize legacy systems and accelerate the adoption of cloud-native application architectures. - Oversee the seamless integration and maintenance of ERP and core lending platforms to ensure high availability and data integrity across all business functions. - Establish and enforce rigorous IT risk management frameworks to safeguard sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Mentor and lead cross-functional application development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and technical excellence. - Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business pain points into scalable technical solutions that drive revenue growth and operational cost optimization. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing complex application architectures within the financial services or NBFC sector, ensuring high performance and system reliability. - Proven ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives, with a deep understanding of modern software development lifecycles and agile methodologies. - Strong proficiency in managing enterprise-grade ERP systems and integrating third-party fintech APIs to enhance service delivery. - Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical roadmaps to non-technical leadership and influence strategic decision-making. - A proactive approach to IT risk management and cybersecurity, ensuring all application deployments adhere to industry best practices and internal governance policies. - A Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a premier institute is highly preferred. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Mumbai, balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational oversight.
