Director - Business Development: Location: Mumbai Job Type: Full-time Reporting line: Partner About this role: This role is based in our Mumbai office and the hire will be a key member of our Studio HBA India/HBA India. Job Summary: As the Director - Business Development, the primary role is to drive growth, secure new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with existing clients. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new leads, potential clients, and opportunities for business expansion. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking. - Collaborate with the design and project teams to create tailored proposals. - Attend industry events to network with potential clients and partners. - Negotiate contracts and agreements. - Set and achieve revenue targets. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Interior Design / Architecture or other related discipline. - 15+ years of experience in architecture / interior design / real estate related industry. - Track record of securing new business. - Strong client network and relationships with hotel operators and real estate developers. - Experience in contract management. - Fluent in English.
