In FY27, Sankalp Forum is building a year-round investment platform that connects curated, high-potential enterprises with institutional investors, development finance institutions, family offices, and investor networks across India and Africa. The Role: We are seeking an individual to build and lead two core entrepreneur-focused initiatives: Deal Rooms: Structured quarterly investor-engagement forums in which five to eight pre-screened, investment-ready enterprises present to a curated group of investors. The person will own the initiative end to end, including enterprise sourcing, screening, session design, investor-enterprise matching, facilitation, and post-session engagement and transaction tracking. Sankalp Awards: A six-month cohort programme designed to help high-potential enterprises strengthen their investment readiness and prepare for their next stage of growth. The programme will combine peer learning, mentorship, investor access, business-model refinement, and targeted enterprise support. Together, Deal Rooms and Sankalp Awards will form the foundation of Sankalp Forum's investment platform, connecting the enterprise pipeline with investors and Intellecap's transaction-advisory capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Build and manage a high-quality enterprise pipeline through targeted outreach, screening, due diligence, and selection. - Design and deliver Deal Room sessions end to end. - Curate investor-enterprise matches based on sector, stage, investment mandate, and capital requirements. - Facilitate high-stakes interactions between founders and investors. - Track post-session engagement, investor diligence, and transaction progress. - Manage relationships with members of the Sankalp Investor Network, including development finance institutions, family offices, corporate venture capital funds, angel investors, and other institutional investors. - Transition qualified opportunities to Intellecap Investment Banking Group and track their progression through the conversion pipeline. - Design the Sankalp Awards cohort curriculum and manage participating enterprises throughout the programme. - Build and manage a network of mentors, sector experts, and advisors for cohort enterprises. - Prepare deal memoranda, enterprise profiles, and investor-facing materials to institutional standards. - Monitor and report on enterprise pipelines, investor engagement, deal flow, cohort progress, and programme outcomes. Candidate Profile: - Five to ten years of experience across impact investing, enterprise development, blended finance, investment banking, venture acceleration, or related fields in emerging markets. - Direct experience working with investment-stage enterprises as an investor, advisor, transaction professional, or accelerator or programme manager. - A strong understanding of enterprise evaluation, investment readiness, due diligence, and investor engagement. - Working knowledge of blended-finance structures, including first-loss capital, development finance institution co-investment, catalytic grants, and other forms of patient or concessional capital. - The ability to translate blended-finance concepts into practical programme and enterprise-support models. - Experience preparing deal memoranda, investment materials, enterprise profiles, or similar investor-facing documentation. - The confidence and executive presence required to facilitate discussions involving founders, investors, senior advisors, and institutional stakeholders. - An established network within India's impact-investing, entrepreneurship, or enterprise-development ecosystem. - Strong programme-management, stakeholder-management, and relationship-building capabilities. - The ability to build new programmes, processes, and operating infrastructure from the ground up. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both entrepreneurial and institutional audiences. - Experience in Africa or Southeast Asia would be an advantage, although India will remain the primary market. Year-One Priorities: - Design and deliver three Deal Rooms in India, featuring five to eight enterprises per session. - Build a screened pipeline of investment-ready enterprises from within the broader Intellecap ecosystem and external market networks. - Establish active relationships with relevant institutional investors and members of the Sankalp Investor Network. - Develop and implement a structured handoff protocol between Sankalp Forum and Intellecap Investment Banking Group. - Track qualified enterprise opportunities through investor engagement and transaction-conversion stages. - Design and operationalise the Sankalp Awards cohort programme. - Establish clear reporting mechanisms for enterprise pipeline quality, investor participation, deal progression, and cohort outcomes.
