Job Description

We are looking for candidates with experience into procurement domain only. Job Description : We are looking for a Vice President Product to own the end-to-end product strategy and execution. You will define the platform architecture across all three sides - buyer, supplier, and Ops - build the agentic workflow layer, and shape how data intelligence drives sourcing outcomes. This is a senior IC-plus-leadership role. You will lead execution, partner closely with AI and data engineering teams, and represent our strategy to leadership, enterprise customers, and partners. What You'll Do : 1. Three-Sided Platform Strategy : - Define the product vision and roadmap across the buyer portal, supplier portal, and our internal ops console. - Design the interaction model between all three sides - how RFQs are initiated, how suppliers respond, and how ops monitors and intervenes. - Own the anonymity and identity architecture - ensuring buyers and suppliers are appropriately shielded at every stage of the deal lifecycle. - Define onboarding, verification, and trust flows for both buyer and supplier sides. 2. Agentic Product Design : - Identify and prioritise where AI agents replace or augment human workflows - RFQ generation, supplier matching, negotiation support, deal closure. - Partner with the AI team to define agent objectives, guardrails, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints. - Distinguish clearly between classical ML use cases (price forecasting, demand clustering, lead time prediction) and GenAI use cases (BOM parsing, RFQ drafting, supplier communication). - Define agent observability requirements - what gets logged, monitored, and surfaced to ops teams. 3. Data Intelligence Consumption : - Work closely with the product owner to define what structured intelligence it requires - component pricing signals, supplier reliability scores, availability forecasts. - Define data contracts and schemas that must be fulfilled for features to function. - Design how intelligence surfaces in the platform - dashboards, alerts, automated recommendations, and deal triggers. 4. Excess Inventory Liquidation - Sell Side : - Own the supplier-side product for excess inventory listing, RFQ response, pricing guidance, and deal execution. - Build workflows that allow OEMs and EMS companies to confidentially list excess stock and receive anonymous bids from verified buyers. - Define market-aware pricing features that help sellers understand fair value before listing. 5. Leadership & Execution : - Lead a multi-disciplinary squad spanning Product, Engineering, AI, and Data. - Write clear PRDs, data contracts, and measurable KPIs for every feature area. - Manage cross-squad dependencies, run agile ceremonies, and maintain delivery velocity in a fast-moving environment. - Translate feedback from OEM and EMS customers into precise, prioritised product requirements. What We're Looking For : - 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role on a B2B SaaS platform. - Demonstrated experience building multi-sided platforms or complex procurement or sourcing products. - Strong understanding of agentic AI systems - ability to scope agents, design human-in-the-loop flows, and write AI product requirements. - Exposure to sourcing, eProcurement, or RFQ / auction workflows in an industrial or technology context. - Ability to define data contracts and work with data engineering teams on schema design and pipeline requirements. - Proven track record leading cross-functional squads in fast-moving, high-growth environments. - Excellent written and verbal communication - able to translate complex technical and domain concepts for both technical and business audiences. Preferred : - Electronics engineering background (B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, ECE, or EEE) or equivalent hands-on knowledge of electronic components is strongly preferred. - Working familiarity with component categories - semiconductors (ICs, MCUs, FPGAs), passives (resistors, capacitors, inductors), connectors, and electromechanical parts - and component lifecycle concepts (EOL, NRND, active, last-time-buy). - Prior experience at, or building products for, OEMs, EMS / Contract Manufacturers, or electronics distributors. - Exposure to platforms such as Digi-Key, Arrow, Mouser, Avnet, Cofactr, CalcuQuote, Supplyframe, or Verical in a product, strategy, or engineering capacity. - Understanding of excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory workflows in electronics supply chains. Good to Have : - Experience with GenAI product development - RAG pipelines, vector / embedding search, LLM-based workflow automation. - Exposure to BI tooling and dashboard design in a product context. - MBA or post-graduate degree in technology management from a premier institution.
