Detailed Job Description Our client, a global commercial P&C insurance organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic finance partner to key business leaders. Candidates must have insurance industry experience, as this role requires a strong understanding of insurance financials, business operations, and performance drivers. Key Responsibilities: • Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis activities • Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting using Power BI and other tools • Analyze financial results and provide actionable recommendations to leadership • Prepare business reviews and presentations for senior management • Support annual planning processes, including expense budgets and reserve-related analyses • Monitor performance against plan and identify opportunities for improvement • Maintain financial reporting integrity and support internal control activities • Partner with business leaders to support strategic initiatives and decision-making Required Qualifications: • Insurance industry experience is required • Preferably commercial P&C insurance experience • Strong understanding of insurance financial statements, financial metrics, and profitability analysis • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Statutory Accounting principles preferred • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is highly preferred • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • CPA and/or advanced degree is a plus This is an opportunity to join a highly respected insurance organization in a strategic, business-facing finance role with significant exposure to senior leadership and long-term growth potential.
