Job Description
Role Summary:
The role owns portfolio management for Fresh and Honest across business strategy, operations, and finance driving market and channel expansion, strengthening process controls and operational efficiency, and leading MIS, P&L, and investor reporting. Positioned at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology, it functions much like a corporate strategy / PMO role on a fast-growing, execution-focused platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver identified value-creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth:
- Drive sales expansion into new markets and channels (B2B/B2C) across the Fresh & Honest, Lavazza, and Dilmah India portfolio.
- Evaluate commercial feasibility and capital allocation for new investments; project-manage cross-functional initiatives new strategies executions, supply chain efficiencies, and digitization with CXOs and business heads.
Operations & Performance Management:
- Institute process controls and optimization plans; track KPIs (sales, product mix, gross margin, discounts, marketing impact, overhead costs) to guide leadership decisions.
- Analyse channel performance, profitability, and project ROI; drive the digital toolkit build-out (CRM, ERPs, BI) to improve efficiency.
Finance & MIS:
- Lead MIS preparation and reporting to management and investors, including P&L and BSCF.
- Build financial models, investment cases, and ROI / IRR / payback analyses; convert insights into strategic recommendations.
Cross-Functional Program Management:
- Manage cross-functional initiatives end-to-end tracking milestones, escalating risks, and resolving issues with stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Strengthen the project review and monitoring framework; run periodic KPI reviews and prioritize the agenda for CEO / senior management.
Key Deliverables:
- MIS, P&L, and BSCF reports for management and investors
- Business cases and investment / ROI models for new projects and strategic initiatives
- Cross-functional PMO tracker for strategic and digitization projects
- Performance dashboards tracking KPIs, project ROI, and margin drivers
Stakeholder Management:
Works closely with Sales, Finance & Accounting, Operations Leadership, HR, Maintenance, and Senior Leadership / Investors committee.
Qualification & Experience:
- Post-Graduation / MBA from a Tier 2 / 3 institute.
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills, with proven PMO capability across complex, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to structure integration plans, track milestones, manage dependencies, and resolve risks and issues during program execution.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, & analytical skills; sound understanding of financial statements - P&L, balance sheet and cashflow.
- Experience building investment cases and ROI / IRR / payback models; skilled at translating financial insights into strategic recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills diagnosing issues and proposing solutions to senior management with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience.
