Works Head/Plant Head

Role Overview: Senior leadership opportunity to lead end-to-end Plant & Manufacturing Operations in the Power Transmission, Electrical Equipment & Transmission Line Hardware industry. The role will drive Operational Excellence, Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Maintenance, Safety, and Continuous Improvement, with a strong focus on business growth, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end Plant / Factory / Works Operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Stores, SCM, and Projects. - Drive production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, OEE, OTIF, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. - Ensure manufacturing output meets quality, technical, customer, and delivery requirements. - Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Lead plant-level Quality Management, process compliance, audits, CAPA, rejection reduction, and customer complaint resolution. - Ensure high machine availability, preventive/predictive maintenance, MTBF, MTTR, and plant infrastructure reliability. - Drive material planning, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and uninterrupted production. - Ensure compliance with EHS, statutory, environmental, electrical, and safety requirements. - Lead new product introduction, technology transfer, capacity expansion, CAPEX, and manufacturing projects. - Build and develop high-performing cross-functional teams and drive people productivity and capability development. - Partner with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to support business growth and customer delivery. Key KPIs: - Production, OEE, Productivity, OTIF, Quality, Rejection, Cost Reduction, Capacity Utilization, Inventory, Machine Availability, Safety, Customer Complaints, CAPEX, and Continuous Improvement. Education & Experience: - B.E./B.Tech - Electrical / Mechanical / Production Engineering - MBA/PGDM - Operations / Management preferred - 15-25 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing / Plant / Factory Operations - Strong experience in Plant Head / Factory Head / Works Head / Manufacturing Head / Operations Head / Production Head roles preferred.
