Job Description

As a Manager Business Analysis, you'll play a critical leadership role within our Transformation team, leading business analysis activities across major initiatives from early discovery through to delivery. You'll guide and support a team of Business Analysts, ensuring quality outcomes, strong stakeholder engagement, and alignment with our project delivery frameworks. Working closely with delivery, design, and business stakeholders, you'll help shape solutions, influence strategic decisions, and ensure initiatives deliver meaningful business value. You'll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of business analysis practices, standards, and communities of practice across the organisation, helping uplift capability and delivery excellence. This role is a permanent opportunity. Responsibilities Day to day, you'll: • Lead discovery, analysis, and requirements activities for strategic transformation initiatives. • Define, coordinate, and oversee business analysis activities across programs and projects. • Coach, mentor, and develop Business Analysts to build a high-performing and engaged team. • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, assess impacts, and support informed decision-making. • Drive collaboration across delivery teams to achieve effective and sustainable business outcomes. • Contribute to risk identification, mitigation planning, and governance activities. • Champion continuous improvement of business analysis standards, frameworks, tools, and practices. • Support the growth of an enterprise-wide community of practice for business analysis. • Promote quality, consistency, and delivery excellence across the transformation portfolio. Qualifications It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: • You have extensive experience leading business analysis delivery within large or complex environments. • Your people leadership experience includes coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. • You'll bring strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks, governance, methodologies, and best practice delivery approaches. • You're highly skilled at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and negotiating complex outcomes. • You have outstanding presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. • Your focus on continuous improvement has helped uplift frameworks, capability, and ways of working. • You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities across a fast-paced project and transformation environment. • You're experienced working within Financial Services, Superannuation, or similarly regulated industries. • You have experience working within Agile delivery environments. • Your qualifications in Business Analysis or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
