The Role As the Senior Accountant | Finance Business Partner, you'll join a high-performing finance team in a broad role spanning commercial finance, FP&A, financial reporting and tax. Reporting to a talented Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include: • Partner with Sales, Operations and senior leadership to provide commercial insights that influence business decisions • Analyse product profitability, margins and commercial performance across a diverse product portfolio • Play a key role in the quarterly forecasting process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery • Analyse monthly financial results, including meaningful variance analysis against budget and forecast • Lead the month-end close process for a dedicated commercial entity with support from a shared services team • Manage indirect tax and statutory compliance obligations • Produce statutory financial reporting and compliance submissions • Lead both US GAAP and local statutory audits • Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and systems • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across both the local business and international finance teams Your Background To be successful in this Senior Accountant | Finance Business Partner role, you'll be a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a position that combines technical accounting, commercial finance and business partnering. You will ideally bring: • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) • Demonstrated experience across financial reporting, month-end close, FP&A and tax • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into practical business insights • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer durables or another product-based industry • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a professional, friendly and approachable style • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities • Exposure to US GAAP would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected global organisation in a role that combines technical accounting with genuine commercial influence.
