Senior Platform DevOps Engineer

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31, 2026 Work set up: Hybrid (Remote with travel to Croydon as required) Clearance required: BPSS + SC Transfer (approximately 7 weeks) Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and cloud-native platform solutions within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, identity and access management, and modern DevOps practices. Experience with data migration projects is considered advantageous. What you will do: • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud platform solutions. • Configure and support ACP/Core Cloud environments. • Implement and manage identity and access management solutions using Keycloak and Microsoft Entra. • Support object storage solutions using Amazon S3. • Deploy, configure, and maintain MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases. • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters. • Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker. • Configure and manage Kubernetes autoscaling using Karpenter. • Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues. • Automate deployment and operational processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability and delivery efficiency. • Support data migration activities where required. • Maintain technical documentation and implementation standards. • Follow DevOps best practices to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available environments.
