Job Description
Position Description:
This position is responsible for creating technical documentation for pumps involving IOM (Installation, Operation, Maintenance), Service / Operational manuals, Assembly, and disassembly procedures.
Accountabilities:
•
Works on service manuals/operational manual for all Flowserve-SIHI pumps and systems.
•
Performs documentation work that is varied and complex, under minimum supervision.
•
Gather all relevant information for each assignment, review all the inputs, understand scope of work, and complete the assigned task by meeting or exceeding customer expectation.
•
Create technical documents by following established business unit standards and procedures by producing consistent and reliable results.
•
Performs document self and peer checking process and achieves high quality in submissions.
•
Deliver clear and complete technical documents as per the deliverables of the assignment, ensuring On-time delivery and quality. Timely update status to all the stakeholders.
•
Understand the basic functions of documentation control, document preservation and computer filing.
•
Maintain and develop technical and other interpersonal skills, always in full compliance with company policies, using the resources productively and innovatively.
Position Requirements:
•
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 4 years and above or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years and above of technical writing experience in Pump or related mechanical industry.
•
Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings/technical documents/reports.
•
Ability to understand the mechanical product/system assembling and dismantling procedures and maintained procedures by considering ease maintained and user safety.
•
Hands on experience in pump assembly, repair and servicing is an added advantage.
