Job Description
The Lead/Senior Software Engineer - Full stack will be responsible for owning the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end platform capabilities across frontend, backend, and data layers. This role requires deep expertise across modern web technologies, including React / Next. js, Node.
js APIs, PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, and integration platforms. The individual will take ownership of architectural decisions, drive best practice across the engineering team, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
The role also includes driving innovation through AI integration, improving engineering workflows, and ensuring that platform capabilities translate into tangible product value. Essential Skillset Strong experience in full stack development using React, Next. js (App Router), Node.
js, and TypeScript Proven expertise in frontend architecture, including SSR, ISR, caching, and performance optimisation Strong backend development experience building REST APIs and backend-for-frontend (BFF) services Experience designing and managing PostgreSQL databases, schemas, and performance tuning Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and deployment tooling (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub) Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and distributed systems Experience implementing authentication and authorisation models (e.
g.
Auth0, RBAC) Strong experience with modern UI frameworks, including Tailwind / component libraries / design systems Experience integrating third-party services and enterprise platforms Understanding of security best practices, secrets management, and compliance requirements Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Desirable Skillset Experience with serverless architecture and microservices Experience with event-driven systems and message queues Exposure to data engineering pipelines or analytics platforms Experience with AI/ML framework
