Test Lead

We are seeking a Functional QA Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in manual and functional testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test plans, validate business requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. You will play a key role in functional validation, defect management, and process improvement within an Agile environment. Domain : IB/MB Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Design • Analyse functional and business requirements to create detailed test cases, and test scenarios. • Ensure complete coverage of functional requirements and maintain traceability. • Identify test data requirements and prepare datasets for execution. Test Execution & Defect Management • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across web and mobile platforms. • Log defects with detailed documentation and collaborate with developers for resolution. • Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure defect closure. Quality Assurance Processes • Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings. • Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices. • Maintain proper documentation of test cases, execution results, and defect reports. Collaboration & Reporting • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements. • Provide daily/weekly status reports on test progress and defect trends. • Support UAT activities and assist stakeholders during release cycles.
