6 month contact Program Manager contract role on a long term, highly innovative program with a global enterprise organization

• On site work available in Vancouver, 4 days a week onsite
What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology and new systems implementation our client is looking to add a Program Manager to their team to help drive innovation forward. You'll join a global retail brand at a moment when consumers are paying closer attention to whether companies back up their sustainability claims. As part of a team enabling product sustainability claims, you'll help verify sustainable certifications, build systems to track and report sustainable materials across the product lifecycle, and model environmental footprint at scale. You'll bring 8+ years in IT, including 2+ years of program management and 7+ years of project management or business analysis experience, along with agile delivery experience and a track record managing $2M+ budgets. You'll be skilled at translating strategy into roadmaps, balancing business needs against technical constraints, and keeping projects moving in a fast-paced environment.

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 4 days a week on site.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
• 8+ years in IT; 2+ years of program management experience.
• 7+ years of project management and/or business analyst experience.
• Experience working with agile delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing $2M+ budgets.
• Demonstrated experience translatingâ¯businessâ¯strategy into roadmaps.
• Proven experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints.
• Experience with fast-pace environment and demonstrates ability to ensure project timelines are being met
• Flexibility on playing a Program/ Project management role
Compensation:
This role pays between $90-100 per hour.
