Senior Power BI Engineer

Our team has grown to 40 specialists operating in both the Czech Republic and Switzerland . What you will do as a Senior Power BI Engineer Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance Power BI datasets and reports, leveraging Databricks (Gold layer) and SQL-based metadata.

Work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient and maintainable Power BI solutions. Optimize large-scale data models and refresh pipelines using incremental refresh, partitioning, and query folding.

Maintain and enhance ADF pipelines, Azure Functions, and YAML-based CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps to support automated testing and deployment workflows. Ensure data quality, security (including RLS), and governance across the Power BI ecosystem.

Collaborate in a cross-functional environment and support teammates in solving analytical and technical challenges. What we expect 5+ years of professional experience in Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, visualization).

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory , Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines). Excellent SQL skills and understanding of metadata-driven modeling. Ability to work closely with both business and technical stakeholders, shaping requirements and solution design.
