Job Description

An MNC company in Data center/Infrastructure business CANDIDATE PROFILE - The right candidate for this position should have experience & knowledge of Supply Chain/Purchasing with relevant experience with SAP, managing & interacting with stakeholders & vendors. Help resolve various purchase related queries. - The role demands very dynamic & adaptable approach for supporting Business objectives. Represent SCM in influencing best practice standards through participation in relevant Stakeholder & vendor forums. - The desired candidate should have relevant experience in handling negotiations for infrastructure items such as DG sets, UPS, Batteries, PAHU, Chillers, Civil, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, Fire, Security, Access controls , professional services, empaneling third party audit agencies etc along with specialized experience ins in handling AMCs, O&M and Repair and maintenance for passive infra equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research and analysis. - Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize the supply chain and achieve cost savings. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement solutions that align with business objectives. - Validate requirement, float RFQ/RFP through ARIBA - Make cost comparisons & arrive at target price. - Lead negotiation and contracts closure with partners for major deals in consultation with Legal and internal stakeholders - Work very closely with User function & team for requirements from inception. Make recommendation from SCM standpoints and impact deliverable. - Early engagement with stakeholders to facilitate right dimensioning, vendors and commercial model. - Accountable for monitoring SLA performance with key project suppliers. - Identify high risk suppliers & work on alternate plan to minimize the risk. - Periodic supplier Governance meeting with suppliers. - Driving overall TCO reduction. - Demonstrated expertise in managing complex contracts and supplier relationships. - Proven track record of successful cost reduction and process improvement initiatives. - Lead and manage negotiations with suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible terms and conditions for goods and services. - Develop and oversee the drafting, review, and execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. - Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining or improving quality and service levels. - Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. - Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise. - Actively participates in internal and external audits and ensure nil noncompliance during yearly audits. - DOP/DOA adherence for all PO & decisions. - Ensure Adherence to CLRA & other compliance. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research and analysis. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - Mech/Electrical Engineering background with equivalent (Data Centre/Telecom) Industry exp. - 10-12 years relevant Experience in Supply Chain / Procurement - Relevant industry Preferably Data Centre, Telecom, IT etc) - Relevant Exp. In SAP , Ariba - Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skill. - Ability to communicate with Impact and engage effectively with stakeholders. - Experience of end-to-end SCM Cross functional experience with relevant SCM Background. - Strong Commercial, Analytical, communication, interpersonal & Decision-Making skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
