Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities: • Conceive and design cost-effective housings for industrial electronic products such as Touch Panels, PLCs, and Power Supplies. • Collaborate closely with hardware and PCB designers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic components. • Develop mechanical designs using both sheet metal and plastic materials depending on product requirements. • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing using standard mechanical design tools. • Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and cost objectives while adhering to industry standards. • Participate in prototype development, design validation, and testing processes. • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing teams for tooling, fabrication, and assembly activities. • Support continuous improvement in mechanical design methods, materials, and processes. Prerequisites: • Hands-on experience with mechanical design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. • Proficiency in 3D solid modeling and 2D detailed drawing creation. • Experience in sheet metal and plastic housing design. • Exposure to mold design is an added advantage. Minimum Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical product design. Skills: Product Design, Solidworks, Prototyping, Autocad, Mechanical Design, 3D Modeling Experience: 2.00-5.00 Years
