Job Summary
As Executive Assistant specializing in Legal & Corporate Affairs, you will support the CEO by managing legal agreements, coordinating counsel, ensuring compliance, and overseeing corporate governance to drive business integrity and growth.
Responsibilities
Review commercial agreements to ensure legal accuracy and protect company interests Draft distributor agreements that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements Coordinate with external legal counsels to facilitate timely and effective legal support Track litigation and disputes to monitor risks and support resolution strategies Review NDAs to safeguard confidential information and maintain compliance Monitor corporate governance practices to uphold company standards and regulatory obligations Ensure compliance with ACRA regulations to maintain corporate legal standing Coordinate banking compliance activities to meet financial regulatory requirements Manage regulatory submissions to secure necessary approvals and maintain operational legality Track China and APAC regulatory developments to anticipate and mitigate legal risks Prepare Board Papers that accurately reflect legal and corporate matters for executive decision-making Follow up on legal deliverables to ensure deadlines and obligations are met Required competencies and certifications Degree in Law or Business Law Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in corporate legal matters Proficiency in English and Mandarin for effective communication Ability to travel frequently to support business needs Experience with cross-border business operations Knowledge of distribution agreements and import/
