Senior Functional Analyst Consultant

Mission Overview: Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role is part of a major business transformation program, where you will join a dynamic team to support the hand-over, refactoring, or greenfield development of new business applications. Responsibilities: • Developing strong and long-term relationships with stakeholders, including business and project stakeholders, team managers, and partners. • Identifying, analyzing, describing, and validating existing business processes and new (non) functional needs of users. • Translating requirements into business solutions by creating functional analysis and application designs. • Collaborating with technical team members to validate functional designs and create translations to technical specifications. • Ensuring end-to-end follow-up on the delivery of new functionalities and/or applications. • Producing all necessary documentation throughout the different stages of projects. • Working closely with business analysts and developers under the supervision of project managers/coordinators to refine and validate proposed solutions. • Reporting status, facilitating decisions, managing risks, and escalating issues as needed in collaboration with project managers. Deliverables: • Analysis documentation. • Software requirements specifications, including necessary diagrams and analysis. • Data model. • User stories. • Test plan and cases. Working Environment: This consultancy mission is based in Brussels, with the possibility of homeworking (3 days a week). The role requires a commitment of 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. Languages: • Active knowledge of French or Dutch (understanding, speaking, writing technical documentation, reading). • Active knowledge of English (writing documentation). Competencies: • Strong functional and business analysis skills to quickly assimilate complex material. • Excellent oral and written communication skills with both business and development teams. • Solution and customer-oriented mindset. • Ability to abstract complex material effectively. • Willingness to adapt to changing business contexts. • Ability to integrate easily into existing teams and supervise junior members. • Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies. • Understanding of classic development technologies (J2EE, Java8, Oracle, Hibernate, Junit, Selenium, Maven, GIT, JIRA). • Mastery of technical language for functional analyses (APIs, mappings, business models, batches, services). • Experience in business analysis and client interfacing to define needs. • Knowledge of the second national language is a plus.
