Senior Accountant

The firm is ahead of the curb with their tech stack and would welcome accountants who are progressive, adaptable and ambitious. About the Role They are seeking a senior accountant to join the team. The role will support a range privately owned businesses, professionals, investors and high-net-worth clients on compliance and broader commercial advisory including taxation and structuring. Day to day: • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns, FBT returns and associated compliance work across all entities. • Managing annual compliance assignments from commencement through to completion • Assisting partners with tax planning, business structuring, asset protection and other advisory assignments • Preparing management reports, cash-flow forecasts and financial analysis where required • Developing a sound understanding of each client’s business, financial position and commercial objectives About You • CA/CPA qualified or currently underway • Strong experience in Australian accounting and taxation principles • Exposure to CGT, FBT and Division 7A is advantageous (training provided) • Experience with Xero (preferred) and Class software (highly regarded) • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach • Comfort working in a tech-enabled, modern environment Benefits • Clear pathway into advisory work as well as scope to progress into a future leader with the firm • Supportive and growing firm environment • Ongoing training and development • Exposure to a broad client base How to Apply Click APPLY to submit your application or for a confidential discussion, please contact Kerry Bywater on 0422 838 161 or Kerry@calidusgroup.com.au for more information.
