Job Description
About the Role:
As an Associate Director in our Transaction Advisory team, you will gain end-to-end exposure to both buy-side and sell-side transactions, giving you a holistic deal-making experience beyond siloed roles. You'll work on challenging, high-profile engagements that accelerate your professional growth, showcase your expertise, and create meaningful impact for clients.
You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of valuation professionals, fostering their growth and development while contributing to the expansion and success of the valuation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce defensible valuation reports using DCF, market multiples, and asset-based methods that meet client and regulatory standards.
- Lead complex valuation engagements involving cross-border entities, niche industries, and unique business models.
- Set clear goals, provide strategic direction, and build a collaborative, accountable team culture.
- Mentor junior team members, ensuring consistent quality and continuous technical growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders through proactive communication.
- Drive thought leadership through articles, case studies, and published insights.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships.
- Build and interpret sophisticated financial models underpinning valuation and strategic decisions.
- Analyze financial data to surface performance trends and key valuation/business drivers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel; familiarity with Capital IQ or similar tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) preferred; Registered Valuer credential a plus.
