About the role As an Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Health & Fitness team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your work will directly support community aged care services focused on client wellbeing, prevention, and reablement. Working closely with the Administration Manager, you’ll help ensure smooth, efficient service delivery across the board. Key Responsibilities: • Reception & Communication: Manage front-of-house operations, warmly greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries appropriately. • Rostering & Referrals: Assist the rostering team with processing client referrals, matching client needs with clinical staff, and maintaining accurate schedules. • Financial & Administrative Support: Accurately receipt incoming payments (including cash, EFTPOS, Medicare, DVA, and HICAPS) and carry out back-of-house tasks like document scanning, managing correspondence, and supporting program initiatives. About you We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. To be successful in this role, you will have: • Experience: Background in an allied health, medical practice, or multi-disciplinary care setting, including experience processing payments and claiming systems. • Technical Skills: Fast, accurate keyboard skills and strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail). Comfort navigating in-house databases and procurement systems is essential. • Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal communication, high attention to detail, and excellent time management skills. • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Aged Care Standards, community funding programs, and person-centered care principles. • Qualifications: Qualifications in Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent experience) are highly regarded.
