Job Description

Job Summary: The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM applications, with a focus on Case and Customer Management solutions. The role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions using Agile methodology, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and providing ongoing support and integration within a complex enterprise environment. The position requires onsite work during standard business hours and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Responsibilities: • Translate requirements into tested CRM applications following Agile delivery methodology. • Develop detailed programming specifications and write code for Dynamics 365 CRM solutions. • Design, develop, configure, and integrate CRM components including entities, workflows, business rules, forms, and views. • Ensure system integration with other organizational applications and establish security measures. • Optimize CRM system performance and provide post-live support including issue analysis and resolution. • Collaborate with project teams including business analysts, QA, and technical leads throughout the development lifecycle. • Prepare and deploy code releases, manage DevOps pipelines, and coordinate deployments across environments. • Participate in meetings, workshops, and reporting; provide estimates, solution assessments, and proof of concepts. • Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot technical problems, and recommend solutions. • Document solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer to client staff. • Comply with government IT policies, standards, and security procedures. Required Skills & Certifications: • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case/Customer Management design, development, configuration, customization, and implementation. • 5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud solutions, including workflow processes, dynamic forms, DataVerse/CDS, Data Entities, and APIs. • 3+ years experience in CRM-MS Dynamics architecture design and analysis in large enterprise environments. • 5+ years experience with Power Automation and 3+ years with Dynamics 365 security, user profiles, auditing, and access control implementation. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, design standards, and operational capabilities. • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps/Power Pages and integration with Dynamics (5+ years). • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint integration (5+ years) and PowerBI dashboard development (3+ years). • Proficiency in JavaScript and middleware/gateway integration technologies. • Experience with Azure DevOps repository and pipeline management for Dynamics 365 deployments. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC lifecycle management tools. Preferred Skills & Certifications: • Knowledge of rapid application development (RAD) methodologies. • Experience with Internet-ready application programming. • Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices. • Experience reviewing and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, and debugging. • Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards. • Experience conducting design walkthroughs and providing user/system documentation. • Familiarity with GIS technologies integration, specifically Esri ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Online. • Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues. Special Considerations: • Position is onsite and requires presence at the designated OPS office location. • Must be available during standard government business hours and reachable via collaboration tools. • May be required to provide services outside normal working hours without additional overtime compensation. • Compliance with Ontario Government I&IT Directive, security procedures, and operational policies is mandatory. Scheduling: • Work 7.25 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM excluding lunch breaks. • Standard business hours with potential occasional requirements outside these hours as needed by clients.
