Job Description
Overview The Client Implementation & Discovery Coordinator supports the successful onboarding and implementation of new clients by coordinating project activities, facilitating discovery efforts, and maintaining detailed project documentation.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams to track progress, support stakeholder communication, and ensure requirements and deliverables are clearly defined.
The Coordinator plays a key role in monitoring timelines, following up on tasks, and assisting with implementation and closeout activities, while developing a strong understanding of operational processes within the mortgage subservicing environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end project execution to ensure timely delivery of milestones and outcomes. Lead the client discovery phase, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and solution design prior to implementation. Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, and key milestones.
Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to drive project alignment. Track project status, including documenting updates, risks, and issues, and escalating as appropriate. Conduct meetings, status updates, and executive presentations.
Ensure requirements and deliverables are clearly defined and documented. Support operational implementation, follow-ups, and project closeout activities. Develop working knowledge of operational processes, including exposure to mortgage subservicing practices.
Follow up with operational teams on assigned tasks and deliverables to support project progress. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years mortgage servicing or banking experience. 3+ years of project management experience, with working knowledge of project management methodologies, software development practices, and standard tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint, time-tracking systems).
