Azure Cloud Architect

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Azure Cloud Architect to join our high-impact technology team in Dubai. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary technical authority for our cloud ecosystem, designing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions that drive our digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, executive stakeholders, and external clients to translate complex business requirements into robust cloud architectures. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and deploy end-to-end Azure cloud solutions that align with enterprise-grade security and performance benchmarks to ensure seamless service delivery. - Orchestrate containerized environments using Kubernetes and AKS to optimize application scalability and resource utilization for our development teams. - Design and manage hybrid connectivity solutions, including ExpressRoute and VPN configurations, to maintain secure and high-speed data transit between on-premises data centers and the cloud. - Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation strategies using PowerShell to reduce manual overhead and improve deployment consistency across environments. - Govern cloud adoption frameworks by applying TOGAF principles to ensure that all technical implementations remain consistent with the broader enterprise architecture strategy. - Mentor junior engineers and lead technical workshops to foster a culture of continuous learning and high-performance engineering within the organization. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing complex Azure cloud environments, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects over 7 - 15 years. - Advanced proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes and AKS, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cluster issues in production environments. - Deep understanding of networking protocols and hybrid cloud connectivity, specifically in configuring and optimizing ExpressRoute and site-to-site VPNs. - Strong command of PowerShell for scripting complex automation tasks and managing cloud resources at scale. - Proven ability to apply TOGAF architectural frameworks to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level. - A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Dubai, and capable of adapting to evolving business requirements in a global market. - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, complemented by relevant professional certifications in Azure architecture.
