Product Owner

Product Owner We ARE Renewables is looking for a Product Owner for one of our clients in the energy sector. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the registration of secondary and tertiary assets. Meridian, IPS Energy, and AutoDesk products are used for this purpose. Together with your IT DevOps team, you are responsible for keeping these applications, which are part of the BMR, up and running. The complexity involved stems, among other things, from data integration between systems and the ability to make the data accessible to the Clients Data Warehouse. Tasks and Responsibilities • You listen in on your DevOps team's daily meeting and stay up to date on the progress of the sprint planning. • Over a good cup of coffee, you reach out to the business owner and go over the final requests one more time. You provide adjustments based on substantive arguments and update the backlog with the new information. • After an energetic lunch walk through the heart of Rotterdam, you are ready for alignment within the ART again. The Release Train Engineer and the Product Manager are your sparring partners and support you in realizing the PI objectives. Your delivery plan has been updated and indicates that you have completed the final alignment with teams outside the ART. • You quickly find a phone booth and listen in on the update for your most important Epic. This time you are relaxed, because there are no surprises for you and your team. Key Requirements • You have completed a higher professional or university education. • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Product Owner (experience in the energy sector, construction, or infrastructure is a plus). • You have extensive knowledge of and experience with Agile Scrum. • You have knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) • You have experience with stakeholder management. • You are certified as a Product Owner Location: Rotterdam + Hybrid Duration: August – December 2026 (Extension is possible)
