Company Description Pulse Social Media is a Bendigo-based social media agency that helps local businesses maintain a strong online presence without the stress of doing it themselves.

The team manages end-to-end social media activity, including strategy, content creation, captions, scheduling, and short-form video across platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

Pulse was founded to support time-poor small business owners with social that feels warm, consistent, and true to their brand rather than generic templates. The agency works with a wide range of clients, from trades and cafés to clinics and retailers.

While based in Bendigo, Pulse supports businesses across regional Victoria and beyond. Role Description The Creative Manager is a part-time hybrid role based in Bendigo, VIC, with flexibility for some work from home.

In this role, the Creative Manager oversees the development of social media concepts and campaigns, guiding creative direction to ensure client brands are represented authentically and consistently.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading creative strategy, briefing and collaborating with designers and content creators, reviewing and approving visual assets and copy, and maintaining brand standards across all client work.

The Creative Manager will also coordinate project timelines, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure deliverables are executed on schedule and within scope. This role works closely with the agency’s account and production teams to translate business goals into engaging, platform-appropriate content.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Creative Direction and Creative Strategy skills, with experience shaping social-first campaigns and content. Candidates should possess Branding skills, including the ability to develop and maintain brand guidelines and tone of voice across platforms.

Candidates should possess Project Management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple client projects, timelines, and priorities. Candidates should possess Graphic Design skills, with proficiency in common design tools (e. g. , Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva) and social media formats.

Relevant experience in social media or digital marketing for small businesses or agencies is beneficial. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to attend in-person meetings in Bendigo as required. A background in marketing, communications, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
