Job Description

Section 1: Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst leads advanced financial analysis, operational oversight, and process improvements for offshore 529 plan administration. The role drives best practices in workflow automation and data integrity by leveraging Kofax and Unite, ensuring efficient operations and robust compliance while providing strategic insights to guide business decisions. Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Transactional processing, reporting, and reconciliations within Kofax and Unite for 529 plan operations, ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily tasks. • Lead governance and oversight across offshore teams, monitor key performance indicators, and support risk management, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. • Identify, diagnose, and solve system or operational issues, recommending enhancements to Kofax workflows and Unite administration protocols. • Collaborate with cross border stakeholders in finance, operations, legal, and compliance to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. • Mentor and support junior analysts, ensuring alignment with service level agreements and quality standards. • Coordinate the documentation and training of operational procedures, supporting both client services and technology teams. • Recommend and lead automation and process improvements leveraging the capabilities within Kofax and Unite to reduce errors and streamline the workflow. • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients. • At Ascensus we are guided by our Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always®. Supervision • N/A Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements • MBA, preferable from Finance background • Experience in the US retirement industry for 5 to 8 years • Open core Night shifts based on business requirements • Good verbal & written communication skills • Good typing skill and attention to detail. • Good time management skills • Ability work independently. • Familiarity MSOffice software applications, including Excel & Word • Strong analytical, leadership, and process improvement experience within 529 plans or other education/retirement savings products • Effective collaboration in global, cross functional teams with clear communication in English. • Understanding of US 529 plan regulations and related financial services compliance is a plus. • Able to work flexible hours to align with onshore team requirements and business needs. • Comfort with regulatory requirements in global financial services delivery and strong documentation practices • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage cross-border projects, and deliver actionable insights for strategic planning For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure associates can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual workspace and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours.
