Job Description
Our client is a multinational company in the Contract Manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join their Engineer team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North – easily accessible.
The Technical Program Manager's responsible: Lead end-to-end product development programs for innovative medical devices and consumables from concept to manufacturing.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product Development, Process Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution. Review product designs, resolve technical challenges, and support design verification, validation, and manufacturing readiness.
Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure on-time delivery. Support design transfer, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturability and product quality.
Work closely with customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders to support product development activities and technical discussions. Ensure compliance with design control processes, ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior engineers while providing technical leadership across multiple development projects. Requirement Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of product development experience in Medical Devices, IVD consumables, biomedical precision assemblies, or a related regulated industry. Minimum 3 years of technical leadership or project management experience, with exposure to customer-facing projects.
