Data Center Architect

Data Center Architect Location : Gurugram / Delhi NCR Experience : 12 - 17 Years Employment Type : Full-Time Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Data Center Architect to design, govern, and optimize enterprise-scale data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while driving modernization initiatives across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud integration. The role requires deep expertise in infrastructure architecture, automation, disaster recovery, and data center transformation, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives. Role & Responsibilities : - Design end-to-end enterprise Data Center architecture, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and backup infrastructure. - Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for infrastructure projects. - Define infrastructure standards, architecture frameworks, governance policies, and best practices. - Design highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. - Lead data center modernization, migration, consolidation, and transformation initiatives. - Architect disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP), backup, and failover solutions. - Plan infrastructure capacity, performance optimization, and lifecycle management. - Design hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, cloud, and application teams for successful solution delivery. - Drive infrastructure automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational governance. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements. - Provide architectural guidance during project implementation and production support. - Mentor technical teams and review infrastructure designs for quality and scalability. Preferred Candidate Profile : - 12 - 17 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and Data Center architecture. - Proven experience designing large-scale, mission-critical Data Center environments. - Strong expertise in virtualization, storage, networking, compute, and cloud technologies. - Experience preparing HLDs, LLDs, and architecture documentation. - Hands-on experience in disaster recovery, backup, infrastructure automation, and cloud integration. - Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure security and compliance. - Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills. - Experience leading infrastructure transformation and modernization projects.
