Joining the Amazon Prime Video team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment.

The Category Manager will be responsible for managing a category within Prime Video (including revenue growth, driving sales, executing promotions and reporting), negotiating direct relationships with key Studios, driving incremental selection, and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience to drive category growth.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for e-commerce, a high level of flexibility, and commitment. The successful Category Manager must be able to:- Manage relationships with a portfolio of international and local film and TV studios and distributors.

- Plan, develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets- Analyse vendor performance and customer behaviour to identify and understand risks and opportunities and their root-causes, and propose solutions to address them.

- Research and monitor industry, customer and competitor trends, input to strategic plans to close competitive gaps and drive market segment growth. - Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.
