Job's mission
As part of ASM’s Global Manufacturing Logistics team, you’ll lead offsite warehouse operations across Singapore and Malaysia, supporting capital equipment manufacturing. You’ll drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and use data analytics to optimize logistics performance across two major sites. This role plays a key part in enabling seamless supply chain execution that supports ASM’s strategic growth and customer delivery goals.
What you will be working on
• Lead and manage offsite warehouse operations in Singapore and Malaysia with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
• Maintain and update 3PL service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring KPIs are met
• Oversee raw materials and finished goods operations, including crating, shipping, and inventory integrity
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
• Ensure safety compliance and quality management within 3PL operations
• Develop logistics dashboards and performance metrics using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Analyze logistics data to optimize costs, throughput, and inventory accuracy
• Lead logistics planning for quarter-end shipments and critical business timelines
• Optimize transportation networks and inbound receiving processes
• Evaluate insource vs. outsource models for warehouse operations
• Ensure trade compliance and customs adherence for all shipments
• Standardize logistics processes across Singapore and Korea sites
• Act as SME in SAP EWM to improve warehouse efficiency
• Collaborate with global and country operations teams to align logistics strategies
What we are looking for
• Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
• Experience in capital equipment or semiconductor/high-tech industries
• Strong analytical skills with ability to use data for decision-making
• Proven experience in logistics budgeting and cost improvement
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in SAP (EWM preferred), and working knowledge of TMS/WMS systems
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with change and ambiguity
