Job Description
Procurement & Sourcing Lead
A leading MNC into material manufacturing is looking for a Procurement and Sourcing Professional. This role will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier development, commercial negotiations, and category management for specialized materials and high-value product portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness.
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and performance metrics.
- Drive complex commercial negotiations involving Raw Material Indexing (RMI), tolling structures, yield-loss agreements, and long-term volume commitments to drive value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, and Business stakeholders to support new product introductions and business growth.
- Manage Toller operations and supplier ecosystems to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
- Conduct supplier reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, supply risks, and opportunities to enhance procurement effectiveness.
Work with internal stakeholder to ensure demand and supply are completely aligned.
Desired Profile
- Engineering with MBA preferred in Supply Chain.
- 5-8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, or Supplier Development.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial products, specialty materials, chemicals, or related sectors will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal frameworks, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), NDAs, and standard commercial language.
