Junior Associate - Web Developer

Junior Web Developer Experience: 1–2 Years Location: Bangalore (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Industry: SaaS / IT / Web Development / Digital Marketing Job Summary We are looking for a passionate Junior Associate Web Developer with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to work on modern SaaS applications while also supporting WordPress-based projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with JavaScript, React.js, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic PHP , along with a strong willingness to learn new technologies. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and product teams to build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript. • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, templates, and plugins. • Support backend integration using PHP and REST APIs. • Integrate third-party APIs and services. • Convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages. • Debug and troubleshoot frontend and backend issues. • Optimize website and application performance. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design. • Follow coding standards, Git workflows, and development best practices. • Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and senior developers to deliver high-quality solutions. • Actively use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while validating generated code. Required Skills • 1–2 years of experience in web development. • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. • Hands-on experience with React.js fundamentals (Components, Hooks, State, Props). • Experience working with WordPress CMS, theme customization, and basic plugin development. • Basic knowledge of PHP and backend integration. • Understanding of REST APIs and JSON. • Familiarity with Git (Clone, Branch, Commit, Push, Pull Requests, Merge). • Good understanding of responsive web development. • Basic SQL/MySQL or other database knowledge. • Ability to debug using browser developer tools. • Experience using AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot. • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Preferred Skills • Experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders. • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or SCSS. • Basic understanding of TypeScript. • Basic knowledge of Docker. • Understanding of authentication concepts (JWT, Sessions, Cookies). • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development. • Familiarity with cloud platforms is an added advantage.
