Role : Senior Product Manager
UKG is looking for a Senior Product Manager who can take the lead of scrum teams, providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles and create requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate number of prepared tasks to work on.
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
- Work with business leaders and other product managers to define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Work closely with Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Assess and troubleshoot incidents and defects, and work with engineering to mitigate when necessary.
- Follow our competitors and the industry.
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
- Provide functional demonstrations of products.
- Assist in drafting and editing product-related documentation.
- Work with cross functional teams in support of product launch.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 5-8 years experience interpreting, formalizing and communicating business and/or product requirements in a business.
- Experience in HR products, HR Service Delivery, or employee support platforms; deep familiarity with HR workflows, case management, or employee self-service is required.
- Experience delivering software products in a product management or related role.
- Demonstrated ability to apply product practices such as continuous discovery, story mapping, and agile delivery.
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and technical system design; able to engage credibly with engineering on integration patterns across first-party and third-party systems.
- Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Pendo) and data analysis to inform product decisions.
- Ability to define product requirements and partner closely with engineering teams.
- Experience using data and customer insights to guide product decisions.
- Product-led growth mindset with focus on adoption, engagement, and expansion.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in HR, Payroll, or closely related fields.
- Enterprise SaaS software solution experience.
- Familiarity with AI-powered products, such as conversational or assistive experiences.
- Familiarity with workflow automation and service optimization.
