Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead the mechanical development and integration of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) components. This role demands strong project management expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive technical excellence and achieve cost targets within a collaborative environment, coordinating with all relevant Bosch teams, including SE teams.Key Responsibilities:ADAS Project Leadership & Execution:Lead and manage ADAS mechanical component development projects from concept to production and ramp-up.Conduct Project Requirement/Specification analysis & finalization.Manage Project Scheduling, approval, and agreements.Track project performance, take corrective and preventive measures.Drive Problem Solving via 8D, DAR, CAR etc.Oversee Mechanical partlist generation (BOM), set-up & release in SAP.Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR).Support Production & Ramp-up.Cross-Functional Leadership & Cost Optimization:Provide cross-functional leadership to achieve material cost reduction targets for defined ADAS product areas.Plan and lead idea generation workshops with Production Plant, Purchase, Hardware, and Design teams to reduce material costs.Conduct brainstorming sessions with experts for idea generation and evaluate design and process optimization initiatives for ADAS products.Coordinate extensively with all Bosch cross-functional teams, including Sales, Software, Production, Purchasing, Hardware, Design, and SE (System Engineering) teams.Risk & Quality Management:Drive quantitative risk management to inform decision-making in steering committees.Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure Quality Assessments (e.g., DRBFM) are performed.Facilitate Customer Coordination. B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 8+ years
